Project Cargo
When cargo is too tall, too long, or an unconventional shape, we call it project cargo. Typically, project cargo doesn’t fit inside the standard container dimensions and requires something with more flexibility to allow for an unusual shape or abnormal length. Fortunately, Containerships has just such a product that can fold flat, carry up to 45-tonnes, and permits uniquely shaped items.
A container for the most unconventional loads
Grand projects often require large components that are simply not compatible with the limitations imposed by a cube-shaped Container. It was for just these projects that flat-rack containers were created. Flat-rack containers:
- Have end walls that can, on some models, fold flat with the base
- Are tested up to 45-tonnes for heavy materials
- Are dedicated to the carriage of heavy, bulky, and over height and/or over width items
- Can be used to carry large pieces of timber on ‘collapsible end’ versions.
