New BALT 7 service connecting Eastern Europe and the UKJune 18, 2021
We are pleased to announce that Containerships will be launching a new service on our popular route connecting East Baltic sea region with the UK’s South West coast.
The BALT 7 service will combine two former separate shuttle services with vessels serving Klaipeda, Gdynia, Teesport and Tilbury ports.
This service is designed to ensure increased supply of empty containers into Poland to meet growing demand of the market. The new weekly service will start from June 25th, 2021 and will be exclusively operated by our LNG -powered 1,380 TEU sister vessels CONTAINERSHIPS STELLAR and CONTAINERSHIPS NORD providing more capacity than before.

This new route is part of Containerships’ commitment to providing more sustainable multimodal transportation solutions across Europe and to further upgrade and develop its routes and services. With launching of this service Containerships will complete its LNG-powered vessel fleet and operate 3 services exclusively operated by 6 LNG-Powered vessels with 1,380 TEU capacity each.
